Online Oriental Rugs
Online Oriental Rugs offers handmade Moroccan, Turkish, and Persian Rugs, along with a hand selected Bohemian home decor pieces. When Ed initially connected with me, he was struggling to make sales due his transactions mostly being from clients at antique markets in Atlanta, Georgia and Roundtop, Texas. His website had next to no traffic and his Social Media accounts were failing to drive business. After doing a thorough analysis of his business and online presence, we were able to put together a stunning and user-friendly website design through Shopify which he had already been using, and used our time with him to teach him some Instagram best practices, doing a month long demo on aesthetic postings and using hashtags to help him transition to flying solo with support. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the ins and outs of the rug business and highly recommend reaching out to Ed if you should find yourself needing to fill the blank canvas of your floors!
Logo Design
For the logo design, Cam (one of our favorite freelance designers) was able to create a stunning set of graphics that featured Ed’s favorite color of lavender set against a stunning multi-color mandala that had a mix of shades that resembled some of his clients’ favorite rugs. Ed was given a full set of logos to be used in various settings like his booth signage, business cards, and more in every format he could possibly need in the future.
Website Design
Because Online Oriental Rugs was already using Shopify, we utilized his existing platform to perform the website redesign, completely updating his color schemes, product descriptions and photogrpahy, functionality, and graphics while streamlining the purchasing process with custom automated emails, and easy to understand verbiage throughout. With that, we were able rewrite all the copy to make it more SEO friendly and submit the sites to search engines to start increasing his traffic. Within two weeks of the update, Ed had his very first online order, the first of many to happen.
