Mara Thygeson, local painter and teacher from Eugene, has been painting for over 30 years and recently reached out to Stratezign to improve her marketing strategy. She was curious about how she could use the internet to grow awareness of her work and we worked with her on the following components of her plan.
Branding & Strategy
Mara asked us for a simple logo & color scheme that represented her paintings well without drawing too much attention. To do that, we went with a watercolor font and pulled a nature-inspired blue out of her painting "Clear Lake."
Mara's biggest desire was to have an online gallery where she could sell her photography. Stratezign designed her an e-commerce enabled site where her art was the main focus. The site includes a gallery, shop, and a dynamic events page where she can host events like wine & canvas or coffee & canvas nights at local wineries and coffee shops and offer painting parties for both the young and old. Website guests can sign up for events and parties directly through her site, allowing her to focus more time on her painting.
